Job summary

Dorothy House Hospice Care is seeking a part-time physiotherapist to join the Allied Health Professional team. You will assess patients with life-limiting illness, build personalised treatment plans and use rehabilitation to manage symptoms while protecting independence.

The role is 30 hours over four days, offering the chance to work closely with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to education, service development and best-practice palliative rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Degree in physiotherapy (BSc or equivalent).
• Registration with the HCPC is required.
• Experience with physiotherapy assessments and goal setting within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload, carry out physiotherapy assessments and develop personalised treatment plans.
• Deliver physiotherapy interventions for symptom management, mobility, independence and quality of life.
• Champion holistic rehabilitative palliative care across hospice services.
• Support patients, families and carers through education and self-management.
