Job Description:

CPL are on the lookout for a Palliative Medicine Consultant available for a permanent opportunity with our NHS client based in Southampton. This would be an on-going contract.

Job plan:

  • Rota: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm
  • Start Date: ASAP – On- going.
  • Additional Information: rates can vary DOE

Key Requirements:

  • Medical degree and relevant postgraduate qualifications.
  • GMC specialist registration in – Palliative Care or Elderly care medicine is a must,
  • Significant NHS experience in Palliative Care or Elderly Care medicine,
  • Ideally full time, we will support flexible working and consider LTFT posts,
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to contribute to the development of clinical services.
  • Proven record of effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care.

Please note to be considered for the role you must have a:

  • Valid GMC
  • NHS experience
  • Valid right to work.
  • UK experience
  • CCT or awaiting

We can assist with updating your compliance, planning travel and accommodation, providing mandatory training/CPD courses and we are also a designated body with the GMC offering services for appraisal and revalidation.
