St Teresa's Hospice in the North East region is seeking a Casual Staff Nurse for the inpatient unit. You will deliver person-centred care to patients with complex palliative and end-of-life needs, contributing to care planning, symptom control and bereavement support.

The role requires current NMC registration and post-registration Band 5 or above experience, with no visa sponsorship available. You will work within a multidisciplinary team and may take on delegated clinical coordination when

Competenze

• Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (general/adult nursing).
• Post-registration experience at Band 5 or above in nursing.
• Palliative care knowledge and interest; ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.

Mansioni

• Deliver person-centred nursing care topatients receiving specialist palliative and end-of-life care.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised care plans.
• Monitor patient condition, recognise changes and escalate concerns.
• Administer, store and manage medicines safely.
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records to NMC standards.
• Contribute to admissions, discharges and care coordination.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families through bereavement.
• Work with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
