Ashgate Hospicecare is seeking a Healthcare Assistant for the Inpatient Unit in North Derbyshire. You will support palliative and end-of-life patients with personal care, mobility and nutrition, working with registered nurses to deliver holistic, compassionate care.

Rotating day and night shifts, with a unit expansion from eight to ten beds following new funding. DBS check is required; visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Qualificações

• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
• Care Certificate or willingness to complete it.
• Experience providing personal care in a healthcare or care setting.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personalised care and support to patients with personal care, mobility and nutritional needs
• Deliver holistic, person-centred care that promotes dignity, comfort and quality of life, alongside registered nurses and the multidisciplinary team
• Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and families
• Assist with clinical observations
• Accurately document care delivered
• Help maintain a safe, compassionate and supportive environment for palliative and end of life care
