Job summary

Tapping House in Hillington (PE31 6BH) is hiring a Palliative Nursing Assistant to join a multidisciplinary team delivering holistic patient care under RN supervision. The role includes 30–36 hours per week with night/unsociable hours as needed.

The post involves working across clinical areas, supporting nurses, and contributing to end-of-life care in a compassionate environment. DBS check and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, willingness to work towards Hospice competency framework for PNAs.
• Experience in caring for patients including recognizing and reporting changes in condition.
• Experience of working in a team and in care settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high standard of patient care focused on individual needs and promote independence and re-enablement.
• Assist in creating a caring, supportive atmosphere across the Hospice.
• Maintain high standards of care and adhere to policies and procedures.
