Job summary

Healthcare Assistants are needed for Marie Curie STARS in Liverpool, covering home visits across the North-West. This full‑time role offers 37.5 hours weekly with shifts 08:00–20:00 or 09:00–21:00 and a permanent contract.

You will support patients in their own homes and communities, delivering compassionate end‑of‑life care as part of a multidisciplinary team, with ongoing training and NHS-aligned benefits.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent Level 2) is required.
• Minimum 6 months care delivery experience in a Health or Social Care setting.
• Ability to deliver person‑centred care and communicate openly.
• Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Office.
• Valid UK driving licence with access to a vehicle with business insurance.
• Flexibility to work across different projects/services in the North-West.

Responsibilities

• Visit up to 10 patients and deliver compassionate care in the community.
• Work independently with MDT support to provide end‑of‑life care.
• Contribute to care plans and maintain clear documentation.
