Job summary

CHEP is seeking a Pallet Repair Operative in South Ockendon (RM15). The role involves inspecting and repairing pallets in a fast-paced production environment, using hand tools and collaborating with automation and new technologies.

You will work double days, with shifts 6 am-2 pm and 2 pm-10 pm, Monday to Friday, in a permanent full-time position. Competitive salary with progression and benefits supports your growth and wellbeing.

Job Description

Pallet Repair Operative - South Ockendon (RM15)

Salary: £27,710.00 + 20% shift allowance = £33,252 per year

Shifts: Double Days, Mon-Fri (6 am-2 pm / 2 pm-10 pm, weekly rotation)

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Location: South Ockendon, RM15 (commutable from Rainham, Dagenham, Romford, Greys, Basildon, Brentwood & surrounding areas)

We're looking for a Pallet Repair Operative to join CHEP - the global leader in pallet, crate, and container pooling. You'll inspect and repair pallets in a fast-paced, target-driven production environment, utilising hand tools and collaborating with automation and new technologies.
