Job summary

Crown Paints in Kirkcaldy is seeking a Sales Assistant to join our store team on a part-time basis (25 hours per week). You will deliver brilliant customer service, mix and tint paint to customer requirements, and support stock and store standards while building relationships with customers and trade accounts.

The role is hands-on, involves driving the store van locally, handling POS transactions, and working with local trades to create exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Friendly, confident approach with customers.
• Strong communication skills.
• Retail or sales experience encouraged but not required.
• Attention to detail and safe working practices.
• Full driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-store and over-the-phone customer service.
• Mix and tint paint to customer requirements.
• Drive the store van to deliver stock locally.
• Process sales and POS transactions.
• Support stock control, deliveries and store standards.
• Build relationships with customers and open trade accounts.
