Job summary

KM Education Recruitment Ltd is hiring a Painting and Decorating Tutor / Trainer (Trainee or Qualified) for a centre-based role in Norfolk. Salary up to £35,000; full-time, permanent.

Essential: Level 3 NVQ in Painting and Decorating; willingness to study PTLLS/AET; IT literate; solid occupational competence. You will teach/assess learners, embed Maths and English, monitor progress and support progression.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 NVQ in Painting and Decorating.
• Willingness to work towards PTLLS/AET teaching qualification.
• Confidently deliver training/workshops to groups of learners.
• Solid occupational competency within Painting and Decorating.
• IT literate.

Responsibilities

• Teach/assess learners working towards a vocational qualification in Painting and Decorating within a classroom-based environment.
• Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills, knowledge and behaviours.
• Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
• Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
• Embed Maths and English into sessions.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.

• Confident and comfortable to deliver training/workshops to groups of learners.
• Must hold solid occupational competency within Painting and Decorating.
• Must be IT Literate.
