Manpower are recruiting a Painter & Decorator for our client in LE2.


You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the interior surfaces of student accomodation, ensuring a high-quality, welcoming environment for residents.


Key Responsibilities

  • Apply paints, varnishes, stains, wallpapers, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
  • Remove old paint using appropriate techniques.
  • Protect furniture and floors during work by laying dust sheets and sheeting over items.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and ensure safe storage of materials in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Liaise with property managers and students as needed to minimize disruption.

    Requirements
  • Proven experience as a painter and decorator, preferably with experience in student accommodation or similar residential settings.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality finishes.
  • Good communication skills and a professional approach to work.
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures, including COSHH regulations.

    Hours and Pay:
    9am-5:30pm Monday to Friday
    £14.00 per hour, paid weekly every Friday
