Job summary

Durham County Council is seeking a permanent Painter and Decorator to join the Corporate Property and Land, Strategic Facilities Management, Repairs and Maintenance Team. You will maintain and improve council buildings across the county and carry out high-quality painting and decorating work.

The role offers the chance to work on diverse projects, with driving assessment and DBS checks as part of pre-employment.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in painting and decorating in busy environments.
• Experience on maintenance or contractual projects in commercial buildings desirable.
• Educated to City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2, or equivalent trade experience.
