Painter & Decorator - General Maintenance

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week

Salary: £25,719 per annum

Contract: Permanent 40-hour contract

What we need in a nutshell

We need someone who will keep our accommodation and holiday park in top condition, ensuring high standards of painting inside and out. You will also support our maintenance team with daily tasks and fix issues that arise, especially considering our unpredictable Cornish weather!

Who are we:

We’re a dynamic and growing company, revolutionizing the British holiday experience at our award-winning UK resorts. Retallack Resort and Spa is a luxury spa resort and lively water sports hub, located in stunning countryside near the North Cornish coast.

Your responsibilities include:
  • Landscaping, including paving and fencing
  • Painting, decorating, and tiling
  • Maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, troubleshooting locks, and cutting keys
  • Conducting maintenance checks and repairs on changeover days, collaborating with other tradespeople
  • Handling any other tasks that require your expertise

Guests and staff rely on you to maintain the appearance and functionality of our units and venues. Therefore, you should be confident, friendly, and practical.

Note: As a holiday park, work may include bank holidays, evenings, and weekends.

Skills, experience, and qualities we’re looking for:
  • Strong experience in painting and decorating
  • Ability to perform basic domestic repairs and maintenance
  • Understanding of Health & Safety regulations
