Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking painters & decorators for a student accommodation site in Leeds to prepare bedrooms and bathrooms ahead of student check-ins. Prior painting experience and the ability to work at pace with high-quality finish are essential.

The assignment runs on site with a start ASAP and must be completed by 3 September. You will work independently, protect floors and furniture, and follow health & safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience painting, preferably in residential or student accommodation.
• Able to work at pace without compromising finish quality.
• Reliable and punctual with strong work ethic.
• Able to start ASAP and commit through project completion.

Responsibilities

• Paint bedrooms, bathrooms and other areas within student accommodation.
• Prepare surfaces before painting, including filling and sanding.
• Apply paint neatly to walls, ceilings and woodwork.
• Keep the work area clean and tidy throughout the job.
• Protect floors, fixtures and furniture from paint splashes.
• Identify areas needing extra prep or attention.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Follow site health and safety procedures.
• Ensure rooms are ready for student check-in.
