Role overview:

To provide services related to Traffic Marshalling. Assist in maintaining the front of house and Weighbridge image. Act as the point of contact for contractors and visitors in accordance with EMCOR standards and Health and Safety regulations. Coordinate traffic flow and loading requirements at the site Weighbridge, organising lorries for load slots as necessary. Ensure continuous improvement initiatives and best practice techniques are implemented. Always be courteous and polite to visitors and persons requiring these services.

What you’ll do:

• Ensure drivers have valid swipe cards; if not, direct them to the main site reception for induction.
• Coordinate with the Sundries Weighbridge for SDC loadings.
• Ensure no long-stay drivers remain in the waiting area.
• Verify all drivers have the required PPE.
• Direct traffic during busy periods on the Sundries Weighbridge.
• Liaise with Security Supervisor to ensure shift cover during holidays and sickness.
• Assist with major incidents following emergency procedures and business continuity plans.
• Attend Toolbox Talks.
• Communicate professionally at all levels, following operating procedures.
• Provide high-quality, professional service to the Company and Client.
• Exchange necessary information during shift handovers accurately and promptly.
• Be familiar with statutory compliance processes and procedures.
• Adhere to Health & Safety policies and EMCOR standards.
• Complete paperwork accurately within deadlines.
• Comply with the EMCOR Code of Conduct.
• Attend training as required.
• Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and high standards in Weighbridge and Security areas.
• Perform any other duties as requested by management.
