We have an exciting opportunity to join our Maintenance team at The Fife Arms Hotel, Braemar as a Painter & Decorator!

As a Painter & Decorator, you will be responsible for ensuring that all areas are decorated and maintained to our standards, with the highest degree of finish throughout.

Main responsibilities:

• Involved in all areas of painting and decorating; spray painting, staining, varnishing, gilding, wallpapering, taping, and filling.
• Think on your feet, remain calm under pressure, and respond quickly to priority tasks.
• Interact with our guests in a warm, professional, and helpful manner, doing everything you can to exceed their expectations.
• Carry out maintenance of the staff accommodation internally and externally according to the daily task list.
• Ensure compliance with Environment, Health, Safety, Security, and Fire & Bomb Policies and Procedures.
• Perform daily maintenance, fire safety, and security checks around the hotel, as required.
• Support the Property Manager by supervising any external contractors on site, as required.
• Ensure that good relationships are built and maintained with internal and external customers.
