Qualifications

• Required to set up and operate paint-related equipment.
• Understanding and knowledge of welding inspections necessary.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate cup guns, air-assisted guns, and mixing equipment.
• Mix and apply paint to components and finished units.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Skills

Proficiency in shop math

DAY SHIFT - 5:00AM to 3:00PM - 20-minute paid lunch

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE: Painters are responsible for the set-up and operation of equipment such as cup guns, air-assisted airless guns, and Hydra-Cat mixing equipment. They also mix and apply paint to components and finished units. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS:

(Required)

• Proficiency in shop math
• Ability to set up and operate listed equipment
• Understanding of weld inspection
• Knowledge of steel types and gauges
• High School Diploma or GED

(Preferred)

• 2,000 hours of trade school experience

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs.
• Bending, lifting, standing
• Exposure to noise, welding, and grinding smoke at times
