We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at HMP Whitemoor, a category A, male prison.

HMP Whitemoor operates like a self-contained city, requiring hundreds of staff to keep it functioning. As part of the Facilities Maintenance Team, we are committed to ensuring smooth and safe operations, impacting prisoners, staff, visitors, and the wider community.

As a painter and decorator, you will work alongside experienced colleagues including plumbers, electricians, carpenters, cleaners, administrators, and others, all dedicated to making a positive difference by providing a safe and secure environment.

We are a Ministry of Justice business providing critical, time-bound services to HMPPS. We are looking for a Painter and Decorator with:

  1. A City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting and Decorating (or equivalent)
  2. Experience working in a maintenance team
  3. An honest and reliable character, with a sense of purpose and pace
