Rate of Pay: £15.34 per hour (with bonus paid on target work)

Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time

Total Weekly Contractual Hours: 39

Location: Mitie Painting, 4 Redesdale Court, Whorlton Road, Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire, England, TS2 1RL

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Painter and Decorator to perform internal and external painting and decorating, wall preparation, minor repairs to surfaces, and structures prior to decorating. You will erect access equipment as needed, with proper training, and use all necessary access tools and temporary screening to ensure safety and environmental protection. Monitoring decorating material stock, requesting new supplies, and ensuring all work stays within budget are also key responsibilities. Proper use and maintenance of painting and decorating equipment are essential.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a recognised qualification or have at least 5 years of verifiable experience in Painting and Decorating.
• Ideally have completed a recognised apprenticeship.
• Be organized, self-motivated, and possess good communication and customer service skills.
• A full driving licence is preferred but not essential.
