Job description

Charnwood Borough Council in Leicestershire is searching for the latest member of The Void and Decants Team.

We are looking for a passionate individual who is customer focused, a team player, and wants to help improve our local communities in Charnwood.

The Council is recruiting for a Painter and Decorator. This is initially a 6-month Fixed Term Contract with the intention to extend.

You will be joining our empty homes (Voids) team and helping us to turn around empty properties quickly and at a high standard to be available for our residents to move into promptly. Excellent decoration skills are required, along with pride in your work and attention to detail. The successful candidate will also demonstrate basic patch plastering skills and be adept at filling.
