Job summary

Imperial London Hotels is seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to support maintenance and refurbishment across The Imperial Hotel in Bloomsbury, London. You will carry out painting, decorating and general property maintenance to keep our buildings in top condition.

Experience in painting and decorating is essential; NVQ/City & Guilds qualifications or asbestos awareness are a bonus. We offer a competitive package and employee benefits within a vibrant, multi-cultural team.

We are currently recruiting for a Painter and Decorator based in the heart of Bloomsbury to join our vibrant and multi-cultural team.

About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to support maintenance and refurbishment projects across The Imperial hotel. You will carry out a wide range of painting, decorating and general property maintenance tasks to keep our buildings looking their best.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Complete internal and external painting, decorating and surface preparation tasks.
• Use power tools for sanding, cleaning and preparing surfaces.
• Carry out minor repairs including plastering, carpentry and brickwork.
• Mix paints and apply decorative finishes using brushes, rollers or spray equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and company procedures.
• Participate in training and development activities.

Who You Are

• Experienced in painting, decorating or general property maintenance.
• Good communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Bonus: trade qualifications such as NVQ, City & Guilds, or Asbestos Awareness.
