Base pay range

We are working with a reputable social housing provider to recruit a Painter & Decorator for a temporary 2-month assignment.

Duties will include:

1. Carrying out painting & decorating within the organisation's properties efficiently and effectively, ensuring all work is planned and completed to customer satisfaction, using the correct products and following provided specifications.
2. Washing down and treating mould & damp issues according to manufacturers' guidelines, including external cleaning of windows, doors, soffits, and fascias.
3. Informing the line manager of any significant delays in work progress.
4. Providing high-quality service to the organisation's customers.
5. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, offering support when needed to ensure effective and efficient services.

Qualifications and experience required:

1. Minimum City & Guilds qualification in Tiling and/or Painting & Decorating at an advanced craft level, or NVQ Level 2 in Tiling or Painting & Decorating, or relevant time-served experience.
2. Experience in tiling and decorating within a housing organisation, contractor, or similar domestic setting.
3. Ability to work as part of a team under tight deadlines.
4. Excellent customer service skills.
5. Full driving license.
