Job description

Stirling Council is looking to recruit a painter and decorator to join our in-house trades team.

We provide a repairs and maintenance service across our housing portfolio, including work on void properties, capital investment, refurbishment, and adaptations. The successful candidate must have the necessary skills, experience, and knowledge in all aspects of painting and decorating, including wallpaper hanging, painting preparation, and finishing both internal and external surfaces. A full driving licence is required, and the candidate should be prepared to participate in an out-of-hours/standby service.

The successful candidate will be required to complete a Level 1 Disclosure Scotland check. If your application progresses after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified.
