Job Description:


We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Painter to join our client on a temporary basis, focusing on social housing projects in York. The successful candidate will be responsible for painting and decorating void properties to ensure they are ready for new tenants. This role is crucial in maintaining the quality and appearance of our housing stock.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, and sanding.
Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
Ensure all work meets high-quality standards and is completed within specified timeframes.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Collaborate with other tradespeople and housing officers to ensure properties are ready for occupancy.
Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used.
Follow health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements:
