Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting Painters for commercial sites in Reading and surrounding areas. You will work on site preparation, surface repair and painting tasks across multiple projects.

We have both long-term and short-term opportunities with flexibility to start soon. Candidates should be able to prepare surfaces, mix paints, apply primers and finishes, and leave the workspace clean and tidy.

Previous experience on commercial interiors is helpful; role may involve ladders or scaffolding.

Qualifications

• Experience in painting on commercial sites preferred.
• Ability to prepare surfaces and apply primer/paints.
• Open to both long-term and short-term projects; immediate start may be available.

Responsibilities

• Site preparation: cover furniture and floors, set up ladders/scaffolding.
• Surface repair: clean surfaces, scrape old paint, sand rough spots, fill cracks with putty.
• Apply primers, paints or varnishes using brushes, rollers or sprayers; finish and tidy workspace.
• Pack up tools and leave the workspace tidy.

Job Responsibilities -

Site Preparation: Covers furniture and floors with drop cloths, and sets up ladders or scaffolding.

Surface Repair: Cleans surfaces, scrapes old paint, sands rough spots, and fills cracks or holes with putty.

Application: Mixes colors and applies primers, paints, or varnishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.Clean-Up:

Packs up tools, removes protective coverings, and leaves the workspace tidy
