Job summary

Think Recruitment is seeking an experienced Painter for an industrial refurbishment project in Pontefract. The role will involve spray painting across a large site, prepping surfaces and masking areas to protect carpets, and delivering a high-quality finish.

You will work with other trades to meet tight programme deadlines and adhere to site health and safety procedures. Relocation is not expected; CSCS card is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Painter with spray painting experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in high-quality finish.
• Experience on commercial or industrial refurbishment projects preferred.
• Own tools (sprayer provided) and PPE required.
• CSCS card preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out spray painting across a large industrial refurbishment project.

Rate: 22 per hour

Painter - Industrial Refurbishment - Pontefract

I'm working with a refurbishment contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Painter for a large-scale industrial refurbishment project in Pontefract.

The role will primarily involve spray painting across the project. As carpets have already been installed in many areas, a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail is essential to ensure a clean, professional finish with no damage to completed areas.

The Role:

• Carrying out spray painting works across a large industrial refurbishment
• Preparing surfaces and masking off completed areas before painting
• Producing a high-quality finish while maintaining a clean working environment
• Taking extra care to protect existing carpets and completed finishes
• Working alongside other trades to ensure programme deadlines are achieved
• Following all site health & safety procedures

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Painter, with strong spray painting experience
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing a high-quality finish
• Experience working on commercial or industrial refurbishment projects preferred
• Own tools (sprayer provided) and PPE required
• Valid CSCS card preferred but not essential
