Orion Electrotech in Marlow is seeking an experienced Paint Technician to join a busy production team. You will prepare, paint, and finish a range of components to exacting standards.

The role is permanent, with Monday to Friday hours, and offers a benefits package including pension, private medical insurance, life assurance, and holiday entitlement. Experience with spray equipment and surface preparation is essential, along with a strong eye for quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Paint Technician or in a similar manufacturing role.
• Experience painting metal, composite, or automotive components.
• Knowledge of surface preparation techniques, including sanding, masking, filling, and finishing.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare components and products for painting, including sanding, filling, masking, and cleaning.
• Inspect surfaces and identify defects to rectify.
• Mix and apply primers, paints, and coatings to specification.
• Operate spray painting equipment to achieve high-quality finishes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Follow health and safety procedures and production schedules.
