Job summary

TXM Recruit is seeking experienced Paint Sprayers to join a long-term contract in Bristol, working on trains. The role involves prepping and painting exterior/interior carriage surfaces and performing smart repairs to surfaces.

The position offers day shifts with occasional afternoons, a 50-hour week, and an hourly rate of £25.00 Ltd OUTSIDE IR35. Pass medical and drug/alcohol screenings is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle paint or smart repair environments such as automotive, aerospace, rail or other vehicles.
• Rolling stock experience is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of health and safety responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Prep high-quality prep work on carriage paintwork to remove surface defects.
• Paint spraying: Apply touch ups/full resprays to paint work in and around the area of work to a quality standard using spraying techniques.

Wecurrently have a fantastic opportunity for experienced Sprayers eitherfrom body shop or Accident repair background or similar to join a contract with an expected duration of 2 years, the role will be working in Bristol working on Trains.

Working in a train depot you will be required to Prep & Paint exterior/interior of carriages and carry out smart repairs to surfaces.

This role has an attractive rate of £25.00 Per Hour Ltd OUTSIDE IR35, and will be conducted Monday to Friday on Day shift with occasional afternoons (1 week in 4 , 1430 - 0100) totaling a 50 hour week.

Job Details

Job Experience

• Experience of working in a vehicle Paint or Smart repair or similar environment Eg Automotive, Aerospace, Rail or other vehicles
• Rolling Stock experience is an advantage
• A working knowledge of H&S responsibilities

You must also be able to pass a Medical, Drug & Alcohol screening.
