We are delighted to be working with a family owned motor engineering company in the Cowfold area (West Sussex) who are actively seeking to recruit an experienced Bodyshop Technician with a versatile skill set – able to paint / fabricate and experience with panel beating.

My client are a Classic Car specialist and have are proud to have a long history for repairing classic cars and providing high quality classic and vintage car repairs and restorations.

Working with a friendly team, you will need to be ready for a challenge to exceed customer expectations and deliver your best. Attention to detail is crucial.

What this role involves:

  • Painting any repaired vehicles
  • Experience with fabrication and Panel Beating
  • Checking correct paint colour and use of spray out card for all colours
  • Setting the oven temperature, air pressure and time
  • Applying the appropriate fillers and stoppers
  • Paint preparation and mixing
  • Roller and paint spray priming
  • Completing quality control
  • Ordering paint for parts when needed

The skills you will need:

  • Being able to work well in a team
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Previous experience as a Painter / Fabricator
  • Use to working to deadlines, and producing quality workmanship
  • To have a valid UK driving licence
