Job description

Our client, Yamazaki Mazak is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years.

Due to increased investment, our client now has a requirement for a Paint Sprayer.

365 Resourcing are the preferred supplier to Mazak.

Job Description

The role is mainly (but not limited to) painting repaired Mazak spindles to as good as new standards and will involve various preparation and painting tasks related to the paint process such as:

  1. Preparing a spindle for the paint room, masking up and placing on paint trolley.
  2. Removing old paint, and sanding back castings to bare metal.
  3. Filling and sanding any defective areas.
  4. Spraying etch-primer, primer and gloss in multiple coats to achieve a good finish.
  5. Preparing a painted casting/spindle for the assy/inspection process.
Essential Criteria
  1. Good attitude and commitment to work.
  2. Self-motivated and good communication, attention to detail.
  3. Organised, able to plan ahead and good ability to follow procedures.
  4. Ability to work to a high level of quality.
  5. Willing to learn and be flexible to the department's needs.
Desirable Criteria
  1. Previous experience of paint processes.
  2. History in working in a production-based environment.
  3. Previous experience with meeting deadlines, doing additional hours when required.
  4. Previous experience of Mazak spindles but be advantageous.
