Job description

Paint Sprayer required, Wellingborough based client, Monday to friday working 07:30 - 16:30, Minimum 2 month contract, lots of overtime available. £16.00 per hour.

We are looking for an experienced paint sprayer who has previously sprayed wood or furniture.

As a paint sprayer, you will be responsible for applying high end finishes to the manufactured products using specific spray equipment. Your aim is to ensure the high quality application of paint and coatings to ensure the products are durable and are aesthetically pleasing on the eye. The role will include

• Preparation of surfaces prior to spraying


• Operating spray equipment including airless and high and low volume pressures systems.


• Applying paint and or stain to the products


• Ensure each product is sprayed to give a flawless smooth finish


• Be health & safety aware and work to the required guidelines for the products and equipment you will be using


• Perform routine cleaning of equipment provided to ensure optimal performance


• To carry out quality inspections to ensure specifications are met.

To be considered for this role, it is essential that the successful candidate has experience of spraying wood or furniture or doors and cabinetry. Automotive paint sprayers will be considered as long as they are experienced in flat panel spraying. Experience of using PU and water based paints as well as applying stains and lacquers would be ideal.
