Potential for overtime: rates vary dependent on shift

Circa: £45K pa base

Role Type: Rolling Contract 18 months+

Role Summary

We have a vacancy for an experienced Paint Sprayer to join an operational team based in a local paint facility in Bristol. This is a single site position working on vehicle paint spraying in a specialised paint team, supporting a wider repair facility.

The Role

1. Prepare and spray paint, exteriors/interiors of vehicles and associated components, using agreed product methods and procedures.
2. Organise and maintain the workspace to enhance the efficiency of your work and the quality of the product being produced.
3. Maintain safe working conditions in line with Health and Safety, COSHH and customer/suppliers' recommendations.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

1. Experience in detailed high quality paint spraying - ideally from an automotive background but will also consider other vehicles or aviation backgrounds.
2. Experience of water based paints would be desirable.
3. Experience of working on larger vehicles or complex projects such as HGV or specialist vehicle livery would be highly advantageous.

You must be able to pass a pre-employment drugs and alcohol test and be happy to undergo regular medicals as part of the occupational health and safety policy.
