Job Title: Paint Sprayer

Shift: Day Shift

Salary: Up to £16.50 per hour

Location: Loughborough

Requirements for the Paint Sprayer role:

1. Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer, preferably in a sheet metal or industrial environment.
2. Knowledge and understanding of ISO9001, ISO45001, and ISO14001 standards.
3. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while following detailed procedures.
4. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with supervisors and team members.
5. Strong attention to detail to ensure quality and precision in all work.
6. Comfortable using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhering to health and safety standards.
7. Ability to handle and manage paint materials, ensuring proper mixing and application.
8. Flexibility to work to production schedules and deadlines.
9. Capable of reading and interpreting technical specifications and drawings.
10. Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Paint Sprayer Role:

1. Adhere to Quality Standards: Follow all procedures and systems according to Wilmott Group's quality accreditations (ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001).
2. Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking as required for optimal paint adhesion.
3. Paint Application: Select, mix, and apply paint to surfaces using a spray gun, ensuring an even, drip-free finish.
4. Equipment Maintenance: Regularly clean and maintain spray guns, spray booths, and other equipment; replace filters and other components as needed.
5. Safety Compliance: Always wear appropriate PPE and follow safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
6. Monitoring & Adjustments: Monitor drying times and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality paintwork.
7. Collaboration: Work with team members and supervisors to meet deadlines and project specifications.
8. Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of timesheets, progress reports, and quality checks.
9. Troubleshooting: Identify and report any issues or hazards, ensuring they are promptly addressed.
10. Maintain High Standards: Ensure all work meets or exceeds specifications, including DFT (Dry Film Thickness) measurements.
11. Overtime: After 38 hours enhanced pay for overtime.
12. Hours: Monday to Thursday - 2pm till 12pm and Monday to Friday - 6am till 2pm.
