A recruitment company is seeking an experienced Paint Sprayer to join a team in Loughborough. The role involves spraying large metal panels and ensuring high quality finishes with attention to detail. Candidates must have experience in this field, understand health and safety procedures, and be comfortable with filling in necessary paperwork. This is a temporary opportunity that could lead to a permanent position, offering a competitive pay rate of up to £16.80 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Experience with filling in necessary spray booth paperwork.
  • Ability to do overtime hours if required.
  • Familiar with correct storage and disposal of hazardous substances.

Responsibilities

  • Spray large panels and clean/seal large units made from structural steel.
  • Follow company policies including Health & Safety.
  • Complete technical sheets for items being sprayed.

Skills

JOB PURPOSETo report to the fabrication Supervisor

To spray Large panels
To clean and seal of large units made from structural steel.

Ability to use hand-held power tools



THE Wet Paint SprayerCANDIDATE:
Experience in spraying large scale metal items. Ideally similar to the large steel containers we produce.
Understanding of COSHH and paint data sheets.
Good knowledge of paint specs and mixing ratios – hardeners, thinners etc
Ability to Quality check before and after spray
Ability to attain a high quality finish using our air assisted spray system with the possibility of occasionally switching to an airless system.
Quality is paramount our company would expect no runs/bleeds/flat spots/light spots
Experience with filling in necessary spray booth paperwork, as well as technical sheets for the items being sprayed. – DFT’s, temp checks,
humidity checks, QA sign-off’s etc..
To be able to do overtime hours should projects require the extra time and effort.
To follow company policies and procedures in terms of hours, breaks, behaviours etc
To follow company policy and Health & Safety including correct PPE.
Ideally familiar with correct storage, use and disposal of hazardous substances.
