Paint Sprayer
Location: Derby DE24
Type: Permanent, 38 Hrs p/w
Salary: £29,000 - £30,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Painter who will be responsible for the preparation and application of paint tooling.

Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of surfaces ready for paint spraying of tooling to specification.
  • Report any defects to the relevant team.
  • Ensure the correct shot blasting surface finish is applied.
  • Responsible for ensuring that paint to be applied complies with the paint specification sheet.
  • Ensure all surfaces have been evenly painted and that there are no misses.
  • General workshop duties including the good housekeeping of the paint spray area.
  • Operate and maintain sand blast equipment.
Key Skills:
  • Proven knowledge and experience in paint spraying.
  • Previous experience using hand-held tools.
  • Ability to read and understand build instruction manuals to ensure products conform to specific dimensions and meet required standards.
  • FLT experience is desirable.
  • Some previous mechanical/manufacturing knowledge would be advantageous.
  • Valid driving licence and passport (Essential).
  • Willingness to travel within the UK if required.
