Paint Sprayer
Location: Derby DE24
Type: Permanent, 38 Hrs p/w
Salary: £29,000 - £30,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Painter who will be responsible for the preparation and application of paint tooling.
- Preparation of surfaces ready for paint spraying of tooling to specification.
- Report any defects to the relevant team.
- Ensure the correct shot blasting surface finish is applied.
- Responsible for ensuring that paint to be applied complies with the paint specification sheet.
- Ensure all surfaces have been evenly painted and that there are no misses.
- General workshop duties including the good housekeeping of the paint spray area.
- Operate and maintain sand blast equipment.
- Proven knowledge and experience in paint spraying.
- Previous experience using hand-held tools.
- Ability to read and understand build instruction manuals to ensure products conform to specific dimensions and meet required standards.
- FLT experience is desirable.
- Some previous mechanical/manufacturing knowledge would be advantageous.
- Valid driving licence and passport (Essential).
- Willingness to travel within the UK if required.
