This Paint Process Engineer role will be joining a specialist department for a very well renowned automotive brand, looking at bespoke and custom pallet colours that can be challenging to deliver for their customers.

Paint Process Engineer Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support PDL responses identifying any costs required for the launch of a vehicle
• Support the transition to of the paint facility from one site to another,
• Responsible for coaching and developing team members to ensure they are able to do their job effectively delivering objectives and targets in line with scorecard metrics
• Lead the planning/implementation for all commissioning for MY and LE colours
• Support resource planning for the paint department
• Attend and represent Paint at programme meetings at all levels and present where applicable.
• Manage the design, procurement and installation of all tooling, jigs and fixtures for manufacturing including supplier selection and vendor management.
• Manage Paint technical issues and escalate where appropriate.
• Support Paint capacity planning.
• Ensuring of Health & Safety including CDM control and implementation
