Based: Kent
Level 1: GBP26,492.28 Level 2: GBP30,105.72
Full-Time: Permanent
Hours: 39 hours per week
Shifts: Choice of two shifts

  • 6 30 or 7 30 (Mon to Thur)
  • 6 30 or 7 30 (Friday)

A great opportunity for a Paint Prepper to join a thriving manufacturing environment, supporting the surface preparation of components prior to wet painting. This role suits someone with excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work hands-on with various tools and processes.

As a Paint Prepper, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing fabricated parts by drilling, fettling, filling, sanding, sealing, masking, and degreasing
  • Operating power tools and shot blasting equipment (training provided)
  • Handling and positioning components for priming, painting, and transfer
  • Ensuring components meet cleanliness and preparation standards
  • Maintaining clean workstations and performing basic preventative maintenance
  • Following all Health & Safety procedures and PPE requirements
  • Supporting lean initiatives and 5S housekeeping routines
