Job summary

Stannah is hiring a Paint Plant Operative in Newburn to join a newly fitted Paint Plant. You will load/unload rails for painting, wrap and pack crates, and prepare components for transit.

The role is 36 hours per week with a 4 days on, 4 days off pattern and a 15% shift premium. Benefits include a market-aligned salary and opportunities for training and development within a modern plant environment.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be a team player, well organised and able to work under pressure.
• Able to plan, prioritise and stay calm in a busy manufacturing environment.
• Experience with powder coating is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Bunging components as per the drawing provided
• Hanging components onto the overhead track
• Unloading components and packing into crates
• Inspecting work against quality criteria
• Wrapping components using specified materials
• Crating components for distribution
• Conducting re-work to required standards
• Work in a modern manufacturing environment
• Plan, prioritise and organise workloads
• Participate in Continuous Improvement
• Commit to cross-functional training
