Paint Plant Operative - Afters

Temp to Perm role, £15.85p/hr, Afters Shift, Mon-Fri, 39hrs per week

LEEDS

I am looking for an experienced Paint Plant Operative to work at a busy Manufacturing company based near to Yeadon, Leeds, on the Afters shift.

The role will require you to be able to Powder Coat to BSI standards, however, if you have experience within either a different Paint department or come from a Manufacturing/Production environment with the will to learn, then full training can be given. Day to Day tasks will include:

-Working in the Paint Plant

-Loading units into the Machines to Powder Coat/Paint them

-Powder Coating to high standards

-Spray Painting when required

-Moving stock around the Paint Department

-Other ad-hoc duties where required

Key skills required for the role include:

-Ideally have Powder coating or Paint Spraying experience

-Must come from a Manufacturing/Production environment

-Manual Handling Techniques as the role will require heavy lifting and shifting

-Good eye for detail

-Safety, Environmental and Quality awareness

-A team player who can use their own initiative

-Capable of working unsupervised

Afters shifts are 2.15pm to 10pm from Mon to Thurs and 11.30am to 7pm on a Fri. This is advertised as a Temp to Perm role with a Pay Rate of £15.85p/hr.
