This role offers the opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking and high-profile defence projects. You will be part of an industry-leading team, collaborating with Marshall, major defence stakeholders, and primes. The working hours are Monday - Thursday, 5.30pm - 3.15am.

Responsibilities include:

  • Prepping, sanding, applying body filler, priming, and painting shelters and component parts.
  • Mixing primer and paint by weight according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Preparing parts and shelters to meet time, cost, and quality standards.
  • Adhering to Health, Safety, and Environment policies and procedures.
  • Following paint shop procedures, including housekeeping and good working practices.
  • Shift work and overtime may be required due to manufacturing demands.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Supervisor - Paint.

Apply if you have the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a professional paint spraying role.
  • Commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work well within a team and follow training with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in prep and painting is preferred.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow processes and instructions.
  • Red Seal or Autobody Painter certification (or equivalent of 5,400 hours of practical automotive painter experience) is preferred but not required.
