Job summary

Manchester Metropolitan University is seeking a confident Interior Design student to act as a Software Skills Demonstrator. You will support Level 4 students during Vectorworks sessions, helping with 2D/3D drawing tasks and modelling while guiding them with clear, patient feedback. Full training will be provided before sessions begin.

The role offers paid experience and the chance to develop teaching and teamwork skills while working alongside academic staff in a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a Master's degree in Interior Design at Manchester Met.
• Strong working knowledge of Vectorworks.
• Confidence applying technical drawing conventions in Interior Design projects.
• Experience producing technical 2D plans and 3D models using Vectorworks.

Responsibilities

• Support Level 4 Interior Design students during Vectorworks teaching sessions.
• Assist students with technical drawing and modelling tasks.
• Provide clear, patient and encouraging guidance to students.
• Work closely with academic staff to ensure students receive appropriate support.
• Attend all scheduled sessions and arrive prepared and on time.
