We are seeking a skilled Manager in Paid Search Bidding to manage the technical operations of our paid search program. You will be part of a dynamic and innovative team that encourages autonomous decision-making, self-motivation, and flexible thinking. Your role will be crucial in shaping the company's future success.

In this role, you will join the Search Engine Marketing (SEM) bidding team, responsible for managing data-led systems that optimize our paid search advertising spend. Your focus will be on ensuring the seamless operation of critical data integrations that power our paid search bidding strategies, and managing projects to enhance our SEM program to deliver incremental revenue. This position combines expertise in SEM with an understanding of martech systems and database management. Collaboration with data engineers, platform teams, and SEM analysts will be essential to maintain system reliability, identify optimization opportunities, and drive innovation. This is a hands-on role requiring technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and strategic thinking to support a multi-million-dollar paid search program.

Examples of What You'll Do

  • Manage the day-to-day functionality of data integrations between internal platforms and search tools like Google Ads, SA360, and Big Query.
  • Monitor daily operations to ensure all data pipelines and integrations function correctly, resolving issues promptly.
  • Troubleshoot and fix broken systems or processes, minimizing disruption to bidding operations.
  • Manage and document workflows for consistency, transparency, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering and Data Science teams to refine processes and database queries that inform SEM bidding strategies.
  • Lead projects to improve SEM performance through better data utilization, automation, and technology.
  • Conduct root cause analyses for operational issues and recommend technical solutions.
  • Explore emerging technologies, martech tools, and best practices to drive SEM innovation.
  • Create technical documentation and workflows to facilitate knowledge sharing and consistency across teams.

What We Seek

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Marketing Technology).
  • 3-4+ years experience in a data analytics role, preferably in digital marketing.
  • Understanding of martech platforms and search advertising tools (e.g., Google Ads, SA360).
  • Familiarity with database structures and troubleshooting data pipelines.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues under time constraints.
  • Ability to translate complex data into compelling stories and actionable insights.
  • Expertise in SQL querying and understanding database structures.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, especially data engineers and marketing professionals.
  • Excellent communication skills to present findings and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, prioritization, and attention to detail.
  • A passion for learning and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with Paid Search, Bidding, and Marketing KPIs is a strong plus.
