Job summary

Bard & Brazier, a luxury towel rail manufacturer, part of the Davroc Group, is seeking an apprentice maintenance operative. The role covers manufacturing to drawings, proactive machine upkeep, and liaison with designers at Marston Industrial Estate.

Training leading to Level 2 Engineering qualifications is provided. You will work to high tolerances, uphold health and safety standards, and contribute to continuous improvement within a modern in-house production environment.

Qualifications

• 3 GCSEs at 9-3 / A*, including maths and English language
• D (4 or above) preferred; maths, English language and ideally science, or equivalent related qualification.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture of new components to engineering drawings in line with timing plans
• Carry out proactive maintenance and upkeep on machines
• Liaise with designers
• Maintain tooling and stock of tools and holders
• Report concerns, issues and repairs
• Work in a systematic fashion following instructions

Education

GCSEs 9-3 / A* (Maths, English)

Science (preferable)
