Stagecoach Group in Newcastle upon Tyne is offering an apprenticeship to become a PCV bus driver. You will train fully, gain your PCV licence, and progress through a Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship while earning as you learn.

You will be based at the Walkergate depot and complete 6–8 weeks of training with paid wages, rising after qualification to a higher rate as you advance to full driver status. A structured development path leads to a stable, rewarding career.

Qualifications

• No experience required to start training.
• Training to gain PCV licence through Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship.
• Based at Walkergate depot in Newcastle upon Tyne, NE6 2BZ.

Responsibilities

• Complete training and obtain your PCV licence.
• Drive Stagecoach buses safely and confidently.
• Deliver excellent customer service on every journey.
• Create a welcoming environment for all customers.
• Work flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends.
