Job summary

Cambridge Consultants is seeking an enthusiastic electronics and software engineering student for a 12-week paid placement in our Electronics & Software team in the United Kingdom. You will gain hands-on experience across telecommunications projects, guided by experienced engineers and mentors.

You’ll work on electronics design, PCB layout with Altium, test and measurement, data analysis, and documentation, developing practical skills for a future career in engineering.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in engineering or related field.
• Hands-on electronics lab experience and soldering.
• Exposure to software development is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and support electronics for multidisciplinary projects.
• Create and implement printed circuit boards using Altium.
• Build experience with precision test and measurement equipment.
• Document work through analyses, test plans and reports.
• Present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
