Job description

Salary: £7,590.96, based on a part-time position.

Hours: 6 hours per week on Sundays.

Role Overview:

Are you a compassionate individual committed to fostering spiritual well-being within a correctional environment? We are seeking a dedicated Pagan Chaplain at HMP Peterborough.

You will engage with residents, especially those nearing release, providing faith-based support and aiding their reintegration. Responsibilities include conducting interviews, supporting religious practices, participating in team meetings, and collaborating with faith-based rehabilitation centres and the local faith community to facilitate residents' discharge and resettlement.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven member of the Pagan Federation or an eligible grove/coven recognized by the Pagan Symposium.

  • High interpersonal skills, including assertiveness and self-motivation.
