It is aimed at those who wish to build on their personal teaching experience to develop expertise in educational theory and practice and undertake supervised educational research.
To assist the Hillingdon Hospital Module Lead for BMS and Firm Lead for Imperial in their educational strategy, the post holder will help design, develop, deliver & evaluate Clinical Education Programmes which encompass essential clinical skills, high fidelity simulation, human factors, communications skills & patient safety training.
The post holder will have varying responsibilities for the organisation of and supervision of all undergraduate teaching and assessment within Paediatrics. In particular, the delivery of 1:1 teaching of individual students within the clinical environment with the completion of mini PACES and OSCEs, the facilitation of the induction course and student appraisal, as well as facilitating and delivering small and large group teaching.
