Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Theatre Orderly to support paediatric patients in theatres and recovery. The role requires assisting theatre staff and maintaining safe care, under supervision, within a busy paediatric environment.

Ideal candidates will have relevant health and social care qualifications, good communication, teamwork and the ability to work within Trust policies. The closing date is 04 November 2026.

Qualifications

• Maths and English GCSE grade C or above or Level 2 functional skills/Key skills in Numeracy and literacy
• Willingness to undertake any competencies for role
• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care

Responsabilités

• Assist and support theatre staff and multidisciplinary team to provide safe, effective care for paediatric patients in theatres and recovery
• Be a positive role model at all times
• Participate in performance management and appraisals
• Follow Trust policy in events of incidents and complaints
• Read, stay up-to-date with BCH CSW code of conduct and Trust guidelines
