Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust in Merseyside is seeking a Theatre Practitioner for Recovery to provide high-quality peri-operative care to paediatric patients. You will advocate for patients and families, participate in teaching and assess staff against Trust standards, and deputise for senior staff when needed.

The role requires HCPC/NMC registration, a degree or equivalent, and flexibility with unsociable hours.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience.
• HCPC Registered ODP or NMC Registered Nurse.
• RSCN.

Responsabilités

• Assess, plan, implement, monitor and evaluate holistic peri-operative care.
• Advocate for patients and involve families in decisions.
• Ensure the WHO checklist is completed for every patient.
• Maintain records per policy and NMC/HCPC Code of Conduct.
• Participate in infection control and audits.
• Support cost improvement and resource use.
