To work in close collaboration with all team members to maintain an environment in which staff are able to contribute to the delivery of safe care in an ambulatory care setting. Patients attending the service are aged 0-18yrs.
The post holder will be responsible for assessment and treatment of patients referred to the service via GPs, Paediatric ED, Community Midwives and the Acute Children's Ward. They are expected to implement and evaluate care in an unsupervised capacity and in line with current evidence base pathways in use within the team. They will ensure complete and accurate documentation, utilising relevant electronic IT Systems. All members of the team work to high standards, delivering quality care and contributing to staff wellbeing and the delivery of an effective learning environment for nursing and non-nursing staff. They will work in close collaboration with all members of the Community Children's Services based in the clinic. Depending on service requirements, the post holder may be expected to rotate to the Children's Ward at Warrington Hospital with appropriate support. Due to the nature of the service a degree of flexibility with working hours is required.
