Job summary

KT Healthcare is seeking an experienced Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to support children aged 8–16 receiving Education Otherwise Than At School (EOTAS) as part of their EHCPs in West Sussex.

The role is 2–2.5 days per week for the full academic year starting in September. You can be employed (pro rata £40,000–£49,000 FTE) or operate as an associate (£300 per day plus 55p per mile). HCPC registration essential and travel across West Sussex required.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered and able to practice paediatric SLT.
• Experience with children aged 8–16 in EOTAS settings.
• Willingness to travel throughout West Sussex.
• Familiar with EHCP provision; CANS training funded by the role.

Responsibilities

• Undertake assessments and deliver interventions.
• Contribute to EHCP provision for linked children.
• Travel across West Sussex to provide therapy services.

We are looking for an experienced Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join our growing Therapeutic Services team, supporting children and young people aged 8–16 years who are receiving Education Otherwise Than At School (EOTAS) provision as part of their Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

This is a 2–2.5 day per week position for the full academic year, starting in September.

About You

You will be HCPC registered and have experience working with children and young people with:

• Autism
• Social communication difficulties
• Learning disabilities
• Mental health needs
• Challenging behaviours

You’ll be confident undertaking assessments, delivering interventions and contributing to EHCP provision. Flexibility to travel throughout West Sussex is essential.

Successful candidates will also complete Children and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) training, fully funded as part of the role.
